Description

Our client is a not-for-profit organisation founded in 2011 and they are on a mission to save lives and reduce emotional pain. They are committed to promote the prevention or control of factor and behaviours leading to suicide; raise community awareness of suicide and the reasons for it.

Role Description

  • The intern will work with the communications coordinator to plan and implement digital marketing strategies across all platforms
  • Support the communications coordinator with delivering regular and tailored marketing campaigns on social media
  • Assist with content creation for online promotional tools, including website and e Newsletter
  • Assist in email marketing where requires
  • Work with the marketing and communications team to plan and action SEO and content optimization activities
  • Conduct comprehensive research in order to develop keyword management strategy for SEM ad campaigns

Learning Outcomes

This opportunity to help you gain hands-on experience in the execution of social media campaigns, marketing copies and SEO/SEM strategies.

The Intern will also gain insight into:

  • Inner-workings of not-for-profit organization
  • Delivering integrated digital communications campaigns to varies audiences with targeted messages
  • Creating marketing copies that align with brand mission and values

Essential Skills

  • Broad computer literacy
  • Experience with WordPress or similar WYSIWYG CMS
  • Experience with Mail chimp or similar mail system
  • Experience with CRM, beneficial but not essential
  • Experience with delivering social media campaigns (analytic skills/experience beneficial not essential)
  • Strong written English skills – grammar spelling
  • Basic graphic skills for resizing images, annotation and minor manipulation of images/copy
  • SEO/SEM understanding and skills

Eligibility

  • Must be over 18 years of age
  • Must have completed a diploma or advanced diploma or AQF 5 or above in your chosen field of study within the last 2 years
  • Have an IELTS score of 6.0 Overall (and no band less than 6.0) or PTE overall score of 50+*
  • Must be able to commit to a minimum of 3 days per week & 12 weeks period. (duration may vary between 10-12 weeks and can be confirmed by the employer)
  • You must have an Australian Citizenship/Permanent Residency OR a valid visa that allows you to work in Australia to be considered for this role

*If your bachelor’s or master’s degree has been completed in Australia, your IELTS/PTE score submission is optional.
