Accounts Officer/ Senior Accounts Officer (Freshers can Apply)

The role is instrumental in enabling effective decision making by management by recording and accounting key aspects of student revenue cycle, student acquisition expenses relating to agents and other college operational expenses. Following are key duties which have to be performed in accounting and student management system (RTOM):

Student invoicing and receivables:

– Review of automatically generated student invoices by RTOM to ensure accuracy, completion and correctness.

– Editing/changing invoices, if required, after necessary approvals

– Applying Student scholarships to invoices

– Consistent monitoring of student outstanding, and providing reports as required

Student fee collection through bank deposits, Ezipay, payway and others along with its correct allocation in RTOM

Student Refunds

– receiving claims

– decisions on refunds in consultation with college head

– recording refunds as payable in accounting system

– communicating refund outcome to students

Agent related transaction processing:

– Receiving agent bills and verification thereof for commission/ bonus/ marketing support and booking them as payable in Xero

– Process and record pre deducted commission & bonus in Xero & RTOM

– Recording of payment in RTOM after execution of payment in Xero

Processing of other non-agent vendor payments as follows, if applicable:

Booking of following bills as payable in Xero after necessary approvals:

– License fee

– College level operational expenses (IT support, Student counselling, director fee, textbooks, OSHC, travelling, credit cards, promotional gift cards etc)

– Contract teacher salaries

– Staff reimbursements

– Other college related expenses

Payroll related transaction processing and Support:

– ECA has a separate payroll processing centre for all group employees, you may be required to support the Payroll Officer in processing the wages for employees. This may include but not limited to processing of timesheets, updating employees record and preparing wages related reports.

Managing communication with internal and external stake holders including students, agents and staff members.

Preparing weekly bank reconciliations of all college bank accounts

Recording of Credit Card bills pertaining to employees of college

Support in documentation of all college finance process

Desired Candidate Profile

– Inter CA/ MBA-Finance/ M.Com.

– Nice to have: Australian accounting experience and immediate joiner
