Role Description

To assist in the implementation of our client’s integrated marketing strategy. This Internship role involves creating content, building web pages, social media, email marketing, search engine optimisation, webinars, event management, and other related marketing activities.

  • Work alongside a team to develop best practice organic and paid online advertising as well as digital strategies
  • Actively support and promote the client’s range of products and services
  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns for products and services
  • Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration across the Training, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure the overall success of the lead generation.
  • Monitoring campaign metrics
  • Contributing to long-term marketing, digital marketing, product plans, and strategies
  • Create and edit graphics in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign for a range of purposes
  • Monitor and action SEO and content optimization activities including developing EDM’s
  • Assisting in the execution of integrated marketing campaigns
  • Assist in writing content for a range of purposes and audiences
  • Gain hands on WordPress and website development experience

Learning Outcomes

The intern will be able to develop key workplace soft skills in communication, teamwork, problem-solving, self-management, planning and organising, use of workplace technology, learning and willingness to take on new challenges, initiative, and professionalism.

The Intern will gain insight into:

  • Digital Marketing and campaigns from idealisation to execution
  • Learn how campaigns are monitored and measured for success and potential improvement areas
  • Hands on involvement with creative design teams and understanding the nuances of both design and copy
  • The ability to learn, develop and flourish within the IT / Managed Services industry and deliver sound marketing structures and objectives

Essential Skills

  • Completed or working towards a degree, preferably in a related field (e.g. Marketing, Communications)
  • Graphic design knowledge – Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
  • Basic understanding of HTML
  • Project management skills
  • Strong communication (written and oral) skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work well without close supervision
  • Learns quickly: demonstrates the ability to quickly and proficiently understand and absorb new information

Eligibility

  • Must be over 18 years of age
  • Must have completed a diploma or advanced diploma or AQF 5 or above in your chosen field of study within the last 2 years
  • Have an IELTS score of 6.0 Overall (and no band less than 6.0) or PTE overall score of 50+*
  • Must be able to commit to a minimum of 3 days per week & 12 weeks period. (duration may vary between 10-12 weeks and can be confirmed by the employer)
  • You must have an Australian Citizenship/Permanent Residency OR a valid visa that allows you to work in Australia to be considered for this role

*If your bachelor’s or master’s degree has been completed in Australia, your IELTS/PTE score submission is optional
